Boredom...

is a band that formed in 1994 in St. Augustine Fl... Tom, Tony, and Mike started jamming in high school and BOREDOM was formed shortly after when Gib came on board as the singer... They recorded a few albums and did some extensive touring with that line up. They also had quite a few songs featured in surf movies like "Lost Across America" and "What's Really Going On" to name a few. Then sometime around the third album Mike left the band and Reid came on board playing bass for just a short while and recorded the split album. Jeremy joined the band shortly after Reid left allowing for touring and playing with bands such as Yellowcard, Guttermouth, Bigwig, Over it, Inspection 12, The Uprise, etc.., was in short order. Their last album "squat thrust captain" was released in 2001. A nationwide tour was scheduled but after Jeremy was injured on the way to play shows with Yellowcard in California it never happened.... 'til now?

Gib (Vocals, Guitar)...

Aka: Penatration H...

After BOREDOM, Gib played and sang in MY CAPTAIN, continuing along the pop punk path. After a brief stint on bass in FOUR STAR DAY, the wheels of steel called his name and DJ GIBZ was born (Now his full time day, or night in this case, job). Family life and small business ownership hasn’t slowed him down musically, keeping busy with the DJ/live drums project MOTORBOATER and punkrock cover band SUMFX-182.

Tom (Guitar, Vocals)...

Aka: Versi-ta-dow...

The tallest and most strikingly handsome of the group... Post BOREDOM Tom has owned the recording studio "One Louder" with fellow band mate Jeremy. During that time Tom fronted/sang in the band EXHAUSTRA along with former BOREDOM bandmate Jeremy and recorded a full length album titled "exits and escapes". They (EXHAUSTRA) are currently writing some new songs to be released sometime in 2012. Tom also played bass in Onslaught Dynamo as well as recording and producing several studio projects. You can now refer to Tom as "El Capitan" as he works as a fishing guide in St. Augustine.

Jeremy (Bass)...

Aka's: Unknown...

Yeah, Jerm was the a-hole who broke his hand on tour with boredom while skating in Texas, effectively ending the band. Freakin... jerk. As the third and final bass player in the band, he played on the “Squat*Thrust Captain” CD. After BOREDOM, he and Gib formed My Captain and went back on the road. In 2003, he and Tom opened the recording studio "One Louder" and in 2004 formed the band EXHAUSTRA whom are currently writing new songs to be released in 2012. In between having a kid and all the fun stuff that comes along with adulthood, Jerm has managed to play and record with such diverse acts as EN MASSE, ONSLAUGHT DYNAMO, THE EASTERN WAVE, BEAU CRUM and most recently THE WOBBLY TOMS.

Tony (Drums, Rap AKA's)...

Aka's: Badafucco, Guvment Cheese, Daishiki Kinard, Tug Boatt, Marsupial Jackson, the Latino Brad Pitt...

Drummer, Rapper, philanthropist, Activist, Gay Porn-Fluffer, Nihilist, Scientology Preacher. The answer is "Yes." All of the drum tracks for all of the Boredom CD's were recorded with a single bass pedal (Not Double Bass)!!!!! After Boredom Tony went to The Himalayas to go find himself. His Hip Hop Career blew up in Asia, especially Bancock! They love his beats! He's currently washing dishes and cleaning the bathrooms at a local strip club. Tony's job is to scrape the hot ropes off of the bathroom walls with his bare hands. Also, he has 14 kids and 9 baby mama's. As soon as Gibby, Jeremy, & Tom came out of the closet BOREDOM all got back together to jam for one simple reason. Now that Tony was the only straight band member, there would be less competition backstage and more groupies for Badafucco! Tony's other bands since boredom include... PAPERCUTT (80's Hair Metal covers), 32oz. To Freedom (Sublime covers), SUMFX-182 (90's punk covers), MOTORBOATER (Dj Vs. drummer).
